Faith Benson

Faith Benson joined the firm with experience in both the Iowa court system and private practice. Prior to joining the firm, Faith worked for the Iowa Judicial Branch as a Judicial Attendant, where she was trained in eight Criminal District Associate dockets as well as several District Court dockets. In that role, she scheduled hearings, investigated cases, drafted orders, and worked directly with attorneys, self-represented litigants, defendants, and victims on a daily basis. She is experienced with EDMS and Iowa Courts Online and developed a strong understanding of court procedures and case management through her work with the judiciary.

Faith earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa in Ethics & Public Policy and Political Science, with a minor in Philosophy and a certificate in Sustainability. She also previously worked at a private law firm where she gained experience in civil litigation, immigration, business, personal injury, and family law matters.

Outside of the office, Faith enjoys reading, movies, television, and creative arts. She has traveled to India through school programs and hopes to visit Ireland and China in the future. She proudly considers pizza the one food she could eat forever, her favorite color is green, and many of her personal goals revolve around giving her cats the very best life possible. Faith is excited for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the firm while continuing to grow professionally and personally.
