Mia K. Valentine brings more than two decades of experience and a deep sense of compassion to her work as a Paralegal. A graduate of Midstate College in Peoria, Illinois, Mia earned dual Associate degrees in Paralegal Studies and Legal Transcription between 2000 and 2005. During her studies, she was honored with nine Dean’s List distinctions and recognized for Perfect Attendance, reflecting her dedication and work ethic from the start of her career.
Mia began her legal journey as a Legal Assistant at Califf & Harper before spending 18 years with Wainstein, Kavensky & Cunningham. In 2025, she joined our team as a Paralegal, where her commitment to honesty, dedication, and knowledge of the field continues to benefit clients every day. Her path into the legal profession was sparked by handling her own divorce, where she discovered both an aptitude and a passion for the law. Since then, she has built a career defined by passion, dedication, and compassion—qualities that shine through in her advocacy for those in need.
Outside of the office, Mia enjoys hiking and kayaking with her best friend her husband Stephen, with Montana’s Glacier National Park holding a special place as their favorite travel destination. She is passionate about supporting individuals in recovery and advocating for rescued animals. A creative at heart, Mia also loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
Mia has two rescue doges, one a mixed retriever named Diana and a deer headed Chihuahua named Tony, and who are spoiled gets lots of treats.
