VLAW Scholarship Program
Over the years the firm has given away tens of thousands of dollars through scholarship competitions. Graduating seniors and college students may qualify to participate in our annual scholarship competitions.
In the past these programs have included:
- Written essay contests
- Video Essay Contests
General Rules
WHO CAN ENTER?
High school seniors accepted to a university, college, or trade school, or students currently enrolled in a university, college, or trade school (Or enrolled to begin by the start of the next semester). Family members of VanDerGinst Law staff are excluded from participation.
WHO SELECTS THE WINNERS?
Each year a different panel of judges is asked to participate. The panel usually consists of local noteworthy persons who can be trusted to be impartial and fair.
HOW MANY SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED AND IN WHAT AMOUNTS?
Each year the number of scholarships differ, as do the amounts. Generally, there are at least five scholarships awarded in amounts between $500 and $5000.
