A Message to Our Clients, Vendors, and Visitors

A Message to Our Clients, Vendors, and Visitors

We are all facing an issue of enormous magnitude which has already had a significant impact on our world. It has brought uncertainly and disruption to the communities we serve. Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak whether through the illness itself or complications in our daily lives.

This is not a situation that any of us wants to experience.

VanDerGinst Law, PC is committed to the health and safety of our clients, vendors, visitors, staff, and all those in the communities we serve. It is part of our mission to help inside and outside of the courtroom, therefore it is our responsibility to prioritize the health and safety of everyone we interact with.

With the growing concerns related to COVID-19, we have established new guidelines to help prevent the spread of the virus and support the health of our clients, vendors, visitors, and staff.

In-Person Meetings

There are occasions when face-to-face meetings must occur. However, during the current infectious disease outbreak, we will arrange to conduct our representation of you, your case, and any other business via email, phone, conference calls, text messages, and regular mail when possible.

In the event you have an appointment scheduled and you feel ill or are concerned about a face-to-face meeting, please contact us and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment and, if possible, arrange alternative means to accomplish what is needed.

Cleaning Protocols

At our offices we have implemented expanded cleaning protocols to ensure the safety of everyone. Common areas and conference rooms are routinely cleaned/disinfected throughout the day and we have plenty of disinfecting surface wipes, hand soap, towels, and hand sanitizer.

Restricted Building Access

We are restricting access to our Moline building by outside individuals to one door. All guests must enter through our lower-level lobby entrance only. This allows us to control which areas are available to the public.

We Take Care of Our Own

Many of you know and love our staff. We love them too. We have implemented an infectious disease control policy and procedure to ensure the safety of our staff which includes access to emergency leave benefits if any of our staff is impacted by COVID-19. We are fortunate that none of our staff and/or their families have been impacted at this time.

Proactive Monitoring

We are continuously monitoring this situation and any new recommendations and requirements from the CDC and public health agencies. This situation remains fluid with new information coming out every day. We will continue to update our policies and you as information develops.

We are so appreciative of the healthcare workers, communities and business leaders, and government officials out there on the front lines, making the hard decisions to try to contain the spread and keep everyone safe. We are fortunate to be able to continue to serve you and our communities. Thank you for your confidence in VanDerGinst Law, PC.
