The Rockford hospital’s emergency department has been designated a Level I Trauma Center, which has also been verified by the Committee on Trauma of the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
This verification means that the care offered by OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center’s emergency room is recognized as one of the best in the nation. Only one other Illinois hospital has achieved the ACS trauma center verification.
