Longtime VanDerGinst Law attorney, Mike Wassell, is running for judge in Henry County, IL in the upcoming election. Mike’s impressive credentials make him a very good candidate. The law firm’s loss could be Henry County’s gain.
As a Marine, he protected and served us. He protected and served us as a police officer. He protected and served us as both, a prosecutor and as a private attorney. Now he wants to protect and serve us as a judge in Henry County.
Mike’s career began as a Marine Corps sergeant. He is a Vietnam War veteran and spent three years serving our country. After his Honorable Discharge he became a police officer. He carried a badge for seven years. He then spent four years as a prosecutor. For the last 26 years he has served as a private attorney. Mike has also served for six years as a Mandatory Arbitration Judge, garnering experience which would serve him well on the bench.
As an attorney for VanDerGinst Law, Mike has been called upon to handle a wide variety of legal matters, including extremely complex cases. He has shown the utmost respect for clients and colleagues alike.
Clearly, Mike is a dear friend of the firm. So, it would comes as no surprise that we endorse him in the upcoming election. But, from as objective a standpoint as we can muster, we can wholeheartedly state that Mike has the experience and temperament necessary to serve as an outstanding judge, and urge Henry County voters to support him on election day.
