Dennis VanDerGinst served as a judge at the Martini Shake Off, a wonderful fundraising event for the HAVlife Foundation. HAVlife raises money for “at risk” children to participate in arts and athletic programs. The event was held at the Rogalski Center at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA.

Dennis VanDerGinst served as emcee and auctioneer at the Family Resources “Opening Doors Gala” on Friday, April 15th, at the Hotel Blackhawk in Davenport, IA. The Gala benefitted the Quad Cities Domestic Violence Shelter and Victim Services and raised nearly $80,000.

VanDerGinst Law has recently opened an Entertainment Law division to handle legal matters for entertainers and models. The firm has long handled these types of cases for a number of well known clients. However, now new resources and attorneys will be devoted exclusively to working in this division given a surge in demand. Dennis VanDerGinst will head the division.

The Law Bulletin Publishing Company has honored three attorneys from VanDerGinst Law as “Leading Lawyers” in their respective practice areas. Dennis VanDerGinst and Trent Marquis have been selected for their achievements in the area of personal injury law and John Westensee in the area of worker’s compensation law. Only a small percentage of attorneys are selected for this honor, which is based upon a survey of other attorneys. VanDerGinst Law secured more honorees than any other exclusively Plaintiffs and Claimants law firm in Eastern Iowa or Western Illinois.

Dennis VanDerGinst and John Westensee have been selected by the American Trial Lawyers Association as two of the “Top 100” trial lawyers from the State of Illinois. VanDerGinst was selected for the fourth time, having been honored every year since the inception of this prestigious distinction. Westensee was named for the second year in a row. Less than 1% of attorneys are selected for this honor each year. It is bestowed after nominations from a survey of other attorneys are reviewed by a selection committee.

Dennis VanDerGinst has been selected for membership in “Elite Lawyers of America”, an organization that restricts its membership to attorneys who have served as lead counsel in cases that resulted in multi-million dollar recoveries. The goal of the organization is to amass the “cream of the crop” of America’s civil trial lawyers.

VanDerGinst Law recently opened two new satellite offices in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. The Cedar Rapids Law office is located at 4403 1st Ave. SE, Suite 306, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402-4835 . The Iowa City Law office is located at 250 – 12th Ave., Suite 150, Coralville, IA 52241 . These are the first two Iowa based locations for the firm. These locations will better help the firm serve clients throughout Iowa. The firm handles catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases all across the country.
